7/18/2015  wheat to fridge / 15 psi
8/1/2015 - It's a lager. Very smooth and clear. It's perfect. Not too hoppy but well balanced.
8/16/2016 -Conditioning in a keg makes a big difference in the body and clarity of the beer. The "BeerBox" has been doing pretty well. I had been bleeding out the box to keep it at 15 psi.
When I fridge conditioned it, I kept it at 15 psi as well for the next 2 weeks.

33-2015 Texas Mesquite Ale

So it's been a while since I've been homebrewing. That's because my unemployment ran out. But I am working now so I decided to brew again. Anyway, I wanted to try something new. I found these malts and hops.  Here are the specs:

Blacklands Pale Moon 2 Row (Texas)
Malted in Central Texas by Blacklands Malt. This base brewers malt is produced from well modified two-rowed barley. It produces a very clean, malty wort with a moderate green sweetness and a touch of earthiness. It is a great enzymatic malt for quick conversion to be used as a base for any recipe, especially suited for IPAs and Pale Ales. This malt may be used for up to 100% of mash grains. 1.9-2.3 L

Blacklands Pale Moon Mesquite 2 Row (Texas)
Malted in Central Texas by Blacklands Malt this malt is then smoked with Mesquite Chips by Austin Homebrew Supply. This malt is produced from well modified two-rowed barley and will have hints of earthiness in addition to the smokey Texas mesquite flavor.
1.9-2.3 L

El Dorado Pellet Hops (1 oz) USA
El Dorado is a dual purpose hop with great aroma qualities and high alpha acid bittering characteristics. El Dorado has fruity and tropical fruit flavors. Fruit notes include pear, watermelon, and stone fruit. Beer styles that typically use this hop include American-style ales, especially pale ales, and IPAs.

4/23/2015   OG= 1.050. I could smell the smokey aspect of it. It was much less after the boil.
5/01/2015     No smokey scent at all. Apple cider.
5/06/2015 - 1.010
5/07/2015 - 1.010
5/08/2015 - 1.010. 9am - Pineapple color. Fruity scent. Cloudy. I bottled in to my new "BeerBox" today. I will condition in it and then later add the C02 for tap.
5/08/2015 - 2pm - The Beer Box is already starting to bulge.
6/19/2015 - I guess it reminded me of a pilsner. It had a full body taste even though it looked very clear. Fruity aroma. Next time I would try it with more mesquite malt.
The BeerBox definitely made the beer clearer. As you know, I do not move to secondary.
