- 1.5 lbs 2 row*
- 1.5 lbs 6 row*
- 1lb Honey Malt*
- 1 cup honey at boil
- 1/4 oz Amarillo 45m*
- 1/4 oz Amarillo 15m*
- ¼ oz ginger root 15m*
- 1 TSP irish moss 15 m
- (NYC tap water)
- Muntons premium gold Ale yeast*
- dry hopping 1 TSP ginger root           
- (Brewers Best conditioning tabs)
*Raw costs - $13.57
OG= 1.038
- 2/24/2013 - bottled at 1.003 after one week. 4.5% alc
3/9/2013 - Nice lasting head. Scent floral to citrus. Honey like. Bread. Ginger is very subtle. Taste refreshing. Ginger bread. Malt. Beautiful. Light. On the bitter side. Not too efficient in mashing yet. IBU=25. Friends liked it. Definitely a summer beer.
